Gyratory Crusher

Introduction:

The design of the gyratory crushers and jaw type gyratory
crushers is based on more than one hundred years of
experience of ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik in the manufacture
of these machines.

Changing mining and processing methods demand, besides
new materials and design methods, a continual development
of the products.

ThyssenKrupp gyratory crushers represent today's
state-of-the-art. They are designed for high throughput
rates and high crushing ratios at low operating and
maintenance costs.

Fields of application and design characteristics:

Gyratories and jaw type gyratory crushers as an integral part of
semi-mobile and stationary processing plants are used for primary crushing of bulk materials mainly in ore mines, in the natural rock industry and in the lime- and cement industry.

Owing to the continuous crushing process, these crushers
achieve a higher throughput rate compared to that of jaw
crushers. In addition to that, they produce a lower portion of
oversize particles due to the ring-shaped crushing chamber.

Further characteristics of gyratory- and jaw type
gyratory crushers:

  • optimum crushing ratio
  • low fines content in the crushed material (if required)
  • start under load possible
  • direct drive
  • low power requirement, low operating and maintenance
    costs
